Been wanting to tackle this one for a while. Met up with Peter from the forum for a steady plod up Pen-y-Ghent. 2,227ft high - that's the highest single hill I've climbed in one go and, I believe, my first proper mountain. Good weather and decent views. It's a bit windy up the steep bits and Peter was good company and very knowledgeable about the area. Really enjoyed the day.
